In May 2024, a call for applications was launched for a program for 12 small and medium-sized enterprises with high export and innovation potential to receive grant and advisory support from EU4Business.
Applications were accepted from SMEs operating in the following sectors: processing (food, light industry, machinery, construction, furniture, etc); creative industries (fashion and design etc); other sectors not mentioned above, with export and innovation potential.
190 applications were received from Ukrainian companies that are eager to develop their own business and scale Ukrainian entrepreneurship.
12 businesses were selected to participate in the program:
Logic Power produces backup power systems and alternative energy sources in Ukraine. Since 2006, LogicPower products have been helping Ukrainians to maintain a stable power supply for household and industrial facilities.
The company Ecofactor produces chargers and SaaS platforms for network management, and is also one of the largest networks of charging stations in Ukraine.
Prana develops and manufactures modern ventilation systems with heat recovery. The company has distributors in more than 40 countries of the world, including many EU countries.
HutJet has its own production of innovative houses using prefabricated technology. The advantages of such houses are the quality of production, energy efficiency, automated production, as well as the possibility of unlimited relocation of ready-made houses.
For more than 10 years, Inox Metal has been engaged in the design, production and installation of structures made of stainless and structural steel, glass and aluminum. Manufactures railings, stairs, handrails, ramps.
Wanted Vegan is a brand of plant-based alternatives that produces such innovative products as plant-based salmon, Chicken Kyiv, burgers, and others. Company plans to enter the German market in the HoReCa segment.
The company produces furniture for sports and children’s development, children’s beds and other wooden products. The full cycle of production is concentrated in Ukraine with subsequent shipment of products to international markets. GOODEVAS believes in creating an environment that promotes both physical and psychological development of children.
The INSORTEX company produces equipment for sorting and processing fruit and berry crops. Among other areas of the company’s activity, should be highlighted the production of equipment for processing vegetables, nuts, grain, meat and dairy products.
The company is a manufacturer of buckets for processing, transporting and storing bulk products. STIF Eastern Europe develops a technological solution to increase the productivity and efficiency of processing bulk products for enterprises in the agricultural, food, chemical, pharmaceutical, woodworking industries and transshipment complexes – sea and “dry” ports.
Forto Design is a manufacturer of designer wooden furniture: armchairs, table tops, stools and tables. The company has a full cycle of wood processing: from the purchase of certified raw materials to the release of the finished product. The company exports furniture of its own trademark, and also creates orders according to individual drawings.
GALEN-1 has been working in the woodworking industry since 2000, producing kitchen boards, wooden furniture panels and fire starters. The company’s goal is to carry out the most thorough processing of raw materials and create significant added value for the Ukrainian economy.
The company specializes in the production of sets for creative leisure: paintings by numbers, diamond mosaics, paints and art canvases. Ideyka products have many admirers in Ukraine and are gradually expanding in European countries.
Each of the 12 businesses will receive up to EUR 40,000 in grant support, expert advice and other activities that will help overcome barriers to export development and innovation.
In addition to grant support, the winners will receive consultations from experts and other activities, which will help overcome barriers to export development and innovation.
