Business and Human Rights Accelerator

Business and Human Rights Accelerator is a six-month program, the goal of which is to help businesses identify risks and implement a systemic approach to human rights compliance in the company according to international standards.

The registration for the accelerator is complete.

Business and Human Rights Accelerator participants will gain a clear understanding of their place in the human rights protection process, be able to determine priority directions, implement mechanisms for responding to complaints and measures for compensation, and also become part of a valuable network of like-minded individuals, partners, and experts.

The accelerator starts in February 2024 and will last until July 2024. Training takes place in a blended format (online and live meetings in Kyiv).

In this accelerator, our participants will learn how to:

  • Know their duties in the field of human rights and labor rights, in accordance with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Declaration of the International Labour Organization;
  • Implement a systemic approach to human rights compliance in line with international standards.
  • Inform the public about their achievements in the protection of human rights, in particular in accordance with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, including regular reports and annual statements for all participants of the UN Global Compact.

Advantages of participating in the accelerator:

  • Participants will learn to identify at which stage the company is in the context of human rights compliance;
  • Learn to analyze existing and potential impacts on human rights with the ability to set priorities;
  • Learn about ways to minimize negative impacts on human rights, including mechanisms for complaint resolution and compensation for damages;
  • Learn about methods of collaboration with stakeholder interests in the context of your business activities;
  • Learn to develop a specific plan to promote the protection of human rights within and outside your company;
  • Acquire a network of colleagues, UN partners, and experts who will help you overcome obstacles on the path to human rights protection;
  • Receive a certificate after successfully completing the program.
