Oplich HUB

In these challenging times for our country, each of us needs special support. This is why the UN Global Compact Network Ukraine has implemented the “Oplich HUB” project – a community center in Zaporizhzhia, where everyone can take care of their mental health through various therapeutic activities. The goal of “Oplich HUB” is to unite the residents of Zaporizhzhia for mutual support and assistance in times of uncertainty. This initiative continues the Mental Help project, aimed at providing free psychological assistance to Ukrainians during difficult wartime.

“Oplich HUB” offers visitors the following activities:

  • Individual psychological consultations with highly qualified specialists;
  • Group art therapy for adults;
  • Workshops for children;
  • Group yoga sessions for children and adults;
  • Wellness fitness for children and adults;
  • Psychoeducational lectures;
  • Career guidance for teenagers;
  • Tea ceremonies;
  • Sessions on psychological self-help and basic psychological skills.

The hub employs the best specialists in psychology, art therapy, and yoga, who have undergone training from international experts from the Israel Trauma Coalition, UCLA, and the University of Denver. All activities at “Oplich HUB” will be completely free and confidential.

Tetiana Sakharuk, CEO of the UN Global Compact Network Ukraine, emphasized:

“Unity and mutual support at all levels and in all spheres are what will help us as a nation to win this war. We are glad to open the ‘Oplich HUB’ in Zaporizhzhia, standing side by side with our partners. Together, we have created a place of psychological safety for the people of Zaporizhzhia. Here, you can open up, share your fears, feel part of a community, and find the strength to withstand the challenges of our time. The hub’s specialists have received psychological assistance training from the best world experts. You can trust and rely on their help.”

“Oplich HUB” works for the benefit of the city’s residents so that everyone can take care of their mental health, as we are all going through tough times. The main thing is to stand shoulder to shoulder.
