The Ukraine Energy Initiative (UEI) was launched in 2023 at the Ukraine Recovery Conference as a joint platform for cooperation between the government, Ukrainian businesses, and international partners. Its core mission is to establish a unified voice for Ukraine’s energy sector, promote transparent rules, accelerate the recovery of energy infrastructure, and attract international investment to support Ukraine’s green transition.
Since then, UEI has evolved into a leading advisory and partnership platform in the energy sector, bringing together over 80 Ukrainian and international companies. The Initiative has assembled a portfolio of 86 ready-to-build projects, which are consistently presented at major global platforms, including COP, the UN General Assembly, the World Economic Forum, and international energy forums. UEI supports businesses in entering international markets, securing financing, and building new partnerships to accelerate Ukraine’s recovery.
Dialogue Hub: a platform for expert dialogue on the future of Ukraine’s energy sector amid the full-scale war, EU integration, sustainable recovery, and energy independence.

Legal Hub: an expert platform dedicated to strengthening a resilient energy system, attracting investment, and aligning Ukraine’s energy regulation with European standards.

Educational Hub: a stream for developing the energy sector workforce, identifying critical skills gaps, and building collaboration models between business, government, and universities.

EU Hub: fostering cooperation and constructive dialogue with the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine through participation in EU integration working groups and other coordination platforms.
