Ceremony Invitation for the “Partnership for Sustainability Award 2021”

We will announce the winners of the “Partnership for Sustainability Award” competition at the ceremony, held on December 2, at 03:00 PM (UTC+2).

The “Partnership for Sustainability Award“ is the UN Global Compact Network Ukraine’s premier award for sustainability, peace, environmental and economic leadership. The Award aims to give morale boost to management, businesses, employees and government to implementation of sustainable strategies in operation standards.

This year, around 100 applications from the Eastern European countries were submitted to the competition. The jury will determine the winners based on the following categories: People, Planet, Peace and Prosperity. All the winners and the participants will be announced by the celebrities of Ukrainian show business and the Ukrainian authorities.

The jury, responsible for evaluating the projects, is international:

• Vanessa Hans, Private Sector Specialist at Basel Institute on Governance;
• Reid Steadman, Managing Director, Global Head of ESG at S&P Jones Indices;
• Antonio Hautle, Executive Director of Global Compact Network Switzerland & Liechtenstein;
• Albert S. Fakhoury, President of Council, CIAAD;
• Cristina Sanchez, Executive Director of Global Compact Network Spain;
• Apurv Gupta, CEO Study Program Lead at Accenture in UK.

What began in 2018 as a recognition event of the Sustainable Development in Ukraine, has evolved into a showcase of sustainability leadership across the Eastern Europe’s business sector. During four years in a row, companies from Ukraine, Georgia, Belarus, Macedonia, Poland, Turkey and Croatia have participated in this competition.

The organizer of the event is Global Compact Network Ukraine. The information partner – Star Light Media, the largest Ukrainian broadcasting group, and also a participant of GC Network Ukraine.
