Congratulations to Tetiana Sakharuk on her new role!

Tetiana Sakharuk, Executive Director of the UN Global Compact Ukraine, has been elected as the Chair for the Regional Network Council for Eastern Europe and Central Asia at the United Nations Global Compact.

This significant announcement was made during the ALNF of the UN Global Compact, held from March 19 to March 22 in Tokyo, Japan. Tetiana will now juggle her duties at the UN Global Compact Ukraine with this new regional role. In her position, Tetiana will collaborate with colleagues to help local networks in Eastern Europe and Central Asia grow and represent their interests globally.

“It’s a big honor for me to lead the Network Council of the region in which Ukraine belongs. We will work together to ensure that every local network can support sustainable development in its area. When every country has strong institutions that focus on the future and want to work together, it helps bring stability and peace to the region,” said Tetiana Sakharuk.
