Mental Help

To make psychological assistance accessible and convenient for Ukrainians, the UN Global Compact Network Ukraine launched the “Mental Help” project. Its goal is to provide free psychological services to those affected by Russia’s war against Ukraine.

Russia’s military aggression has caused irreparable harm not only to the physical but also to the psychological health of Ukrainians. According to the Minister of Health, 15 million Ukrainians will require psychological support, including children, adults, and the elderly. Unfortunately, not all Ukrainians can afford professional psychological services. However, they all deserve psychological support and care.

To date, our team of professional psychologists has conducted over 19,000 free consultations, providing psychological support to more than 4,000 Ukrainians. 89% of clients reported a reduction in their stress levels after the consultation.

How to get psychological help

You are just a few clicks away from a session with a specialist:

  1. Visit our website: https://mentalhelp.com.ua/
  2. Browse through the profiles of our psychologists and select the one who best suits your needs.
  3. In the psychologist’s profile, book a specific time for a private session by filling out a short form with your contact information.
  4. At the scheduled time, join the online session with the psychologist via the link sent to your email.

The consultation will take place through Google Meet. All consultations are free and confidential.

“Currently, 15 psychologists work on our platform. These are specialists with a background in psychology, at least 3 years of professional experience, and membership in relevant professional associations. All of our psychologists regularly attend supervision sessions, which is a mandatory requirement for working on our platform. We ensure that they do not experience burnout and can continue their work effectively. If we notice any difficulties, we conduct rotations,” said Tatiana Sakharuk, CEO of the UN Global Compact Network Ukraine.

Project Reviews

I want to thank the platform’s psychologist for pulling me out of depression and anxiety without any medication and helping me understand myself. I am once again enjoying life, finding strength within myself, learning to understand and accept myself, overcoming anxiety, and my apathy has disappeared.

As a result of my work with the platform’s psychologist, I have become more self-aware. I now understand my desires, emotions, and feelings. I have let go of unrealistic expectations of myself and others, and I am more accepting and less expectant. When anxiety does arise, I know how to help myself and reduce it. This has been significant progress for me, and my quality of life has almost returned to its pre-war state.

Sessions with the psychologist have brought me back to life and added vibrant colors!
