Accord Group, a Ukrainian digital company specializing in cybersecurity and helping businesses and the government meet the demands of the digital world, has joined the United Nations Global Compact.

“Since 2010, Accord Group experts have implemented over 500 projects for international banks, retailers, government organizations, and industrial enterprises. Among the trending directions of work are information security, cloud solutions, IT outsourcing, and more,” says CEO Valeriy Berehovyi.

By joining the UN Global Compact, Accord Group commits to continue working diligently on implementing the Sustainable Development Goals, which have been an integral part of the company’s development throughout its history. These Goals include:

  • Goal 4: Quality Education
  • Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
  • Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure

It is important to note that educational projects are the main focus of Accord Group’s ESG strategy, which has been actively working on the widespread implementation of STEM approaches in Ukrainian education for over 10 years. The company is the developer and supplier of innovative school laboratories STEAM-Lab. This socially responsible position is especially important for educators and students in Ukraine during times of war, as the level and quality of digitalization of the educational process, without exaggeration, determine the future of our children.

This year, with the support of the company, such large-scale national STEM projects are underway as:

  • International STEM standardization of educational institutions in Ukraine “STEAM STATUS”
  • All-Ukrainian modeling competition of «smart» devices “STEAM House”
  • All-Ukrainian educational non-stop “STEM Education Center as a space of intellectual opportunities for participants of the educational process”
  • Final conference of the All-Ukrainian festival “STEM Spring 2024”
  • Summer school STEM camps for displaced children “STEM Camp” and much more.

Additionally, active support is being provided for cultural and humanitarian projects for children across Ukraine and abroad, assistance is being provided to defenders of Ukraine, and active work is being done to enhance the cybersecurity of private and state-owned enterprises in our country.
